About Us

Impact was set up as a result of an initiative by a group of people who had a vision and a passion to help regenerate a run down community, not only regenerating buildings but regenerating people’s hopes, aspirations and giving them the opportunities to take positive control and responsibility of their own community.   From these humble beginnings Impact is now a national not for profit organisation offering specialist supported accommodation to young people across the country.

Impact Living offers a new lifestyle choice for people who would like to see an improvement in their quality of life.

We are continually developing and are looking to establish similar supported housing projects in more towns and cities across the country in areas that have similar needs to those we currently address.

What is Impact Living?

We are an award winning not for profit organisation.  We provide housing, support, training and health projects for young adults in cities across the north of England.

What is Impacts track record like?

Over the last eleven years Impact has had great success in providing accommodation and support for young adults and has been presented with several national awards for its work. Impact is well respected in every community it works in and we hope to carry on this success other areas throughout the north of England.

What effect does Impact have locally?

Impact has support and security staff that work 24hours a day to maintain safety and security for our residents. Impact likes to have a hands-on approach to helping our tenants and the wider community.

Who will be moving in?

Impact likes to support young adults. Everybody who lives with Impact must take part in a tough interview and selection process. This allows us to choose the most appropriate tenants from our long waiting list.

Does impact house people with alcohol or drug dependency issues?

Impact does not have the necessary expertise to work with people suffering from addiction and therefore chooses not to house them. Impact also operates a strong anti drugs policy within its properties.
